... and for folks like me who run 4K displays and want to control how large things show up on screen... :-[

IMatch has several features which enable users to control how large icons are displayed in the tree controls, the size of toolbar icons, the text size used in the Metadata, Keyword and Attribute panels:

See the Configuring IMatch for High-DPI Screens and Easier Reading knowledge-base article for full information.

These are often overlooked features and can help a lot in many situations. It's just easier on the eye wo increase the font size a bit when you need to work for a long time in the Metadata or Keyword panel. And if you are above 45, chances are that your eye-sight decreases and higher contrasts and a bit larger fonts are welcome.

I'm happy to say that this will also work for the App Panels, Map Panel, App Manager.
And all IMatch features which use a browser for the user interface (several of the import & export modules do, more features will do so in the future).

You can configure the display scale of these panels in 16 steps, giving you roughly a 250% scale in both directions. Plenty.

We've tested this on the weekend using tiny Windows tablets with about 1300 pixels up to a posh 8K monitor (wanna!).
It was always possible to find an optimal scale that allowed us to see as much as possible while keeping everything readable. Some users reduced the scale to see the same info in a smaller panel, others preferred larger fonts for easier reading.

I consider having such features a necessity.

Thanks, Mario!

This is really a very good enhancement.

And you confirm with this, that you take care even on things, what some others does not care.
One of the best things in this area is, if you buy some liquids for your eyes, like for lenses ... and the font there is soooooo small that you cannot read it! Cruelly and unbashed. 8)
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

Its the same with all the 'E' numbers and all the declarations on food required by EU law. The minimal font size is 7 I think, and the vendors use that. In German REWE markets, shopping carts now come with built-in magnifier glasses:
