Hi all:
I have several old pictures taken with a Samsung GT-I9100
Some of them has the Make (taken from {File.MD.Exif::Main\271\Make\0}) and Model (taken from {File.MD.Exif::Main\272\Model\0}) on the photo.
Others don't.
If I choose a photo without this information and put the right values in the empty fields and then save the changes , the next time I open the photo those fields are empty again.
The question is how can I update this information in IMatch, in order to have the Make and Model in all photos taken (in this case) by the Samsung GT-I9100 ?
Do I need another piece of software or can I do this in IMatch?
Thanks in advance,
JRosa.

Maybe these tags are read-only. Honestly, I've never tried to write these tags.
Or perhaps, if these tags are missing, the metadata in the old files is damaged already?

Does ExifTool display an error message when you write these tags in the output panel?

Hi:
Thanks for your answer.
In the without file is where I write what I want. Then I click on the yellow pen it saves but nothing happens.
The with file is another file with the correct parameters in the same fields..
Where can I find the Exif output panel?
Thanks,
JRosa.

View menu > Panels > Output Panel.
Search for "panel" in the Help index, then click on "Output" in the result.
