Location Metadata Issue

I have some hierarchal categories setup up (Country>State>City, pretty basic) which works great, except for jpgs from my Sony phone.

I've attached a sample image, which seems to have all the information correctly inserted in metadata, but the categories always list all three levels (Country, State and City) as "Other."

I'm not having this problem with any other files, but I am having this issue with multiple files from this phone from various locations.

Thoughts?

Edit: It seems I also have a few psd and tiffs doing the same thing. The vast majority of files are working fine though.

It works here with your picture.
I use the following tags for the data driven category:
Composite\Country\Country\0
Composite\State\State\0
Composite\City\City\0
Composite\Location\Location\0

There is no Country Code in the meta data, but that should not matter if you don't use it for the definition.

Looks good here as well.
I've just dropped the file in one of my test databases and looked at the default IMatch Sample Categories" | Image Files | Location.
The metadata also looks good in the Metadata Panel.

Do you use the default Location category (see above) or have you created your own data-driven category?
In that case, which tag did you use? The IMatch standards tags (good) or custom tags (maybe not so good).

Thanks for the help guys.

Yes I had created my own categories and was using the IPTC codes, which was the problem.

All working perfectly now.

I highly recommend to use the IMatch standards tags where possible. They mostly use XMP data, but automatically switch to other standards or ExifTool composite tags where needed.
