Not enough RAM

Hello Mario

From time to time I have this message. Say once in two weeks.
If so, I have no chance, I must close IMlatch with the Task-Manager.

I reduced the "Speicherbedarf" from Photoshop, but this did not help.

Hence attached the message and the log.
Hope this helps you and finally me.  ;D

Thanks in advance.

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

The log file reports a maximum memory usage of only 1.7 GB. Task Manager shows 2.1 GB.

IMatch can use up to 3.5 of RAM so there is plenty of RAM left.
IMatch can allocate another 1.5 GB of RAM before its process space is used up.
Unless your RAM is so badly fragmented that Windows cannot find a consecutive block of RAM large enough for whatever IMatch needs...

Which operations cause this message? What do you do to cause this?
Your database has only 250,000 files and 12,000 categories. Nothing really stressing anything.

This does not look like an IMatch error message but more like an error message from the Microsoft runtime.
The log shows no trace of this so I cannot tell. Did you attach the right log file?
This may be a script or a data-driven category or a variable running out of bounds or something...
The log file should track that and give us details.

Thanks, Mario

I will carefully look the next time, because I have it from time to time.

Yes, maybe another thing, if I know more, I will report it.

Thanks!
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)
