Hello. I am a BRAND new user and trying to figure out how to use iMatch with CaptureOne. I found a post suggesting to add CaptureOne to the Application Favorites section and then drag and drop thumbs there to open them in C1. My question is how do I add CaptureOne as a favorite? The help guide suggests dragging and dropping the app from the start menu, but that doesn't seem to work.

Thanks

Mario

There are several ways to open files from IMatch into other applications:

1. Select the files, press CTRL + ENTER
Opens the files in the associated application.

2. Select the files, press SHIFT + ALT + ENTER to open the "Open with..." dialog

3. Drag the files from the IMatch file window to the window or icon of the other application.

4. Select, then right-click. Choose "Open" from the menu.

5. Select, then right-click. Choose "Open with " from the "Advanced..." sub-menu

6. Create a Favorite for your application as explained in the help.

If this does not work, please be more detailed about "does not seem to work".
What happens?
Error message?
Explosion?
Nothing?

Note: Not all applications implement the standard Windows protocols (Lr, for example). In that case, the Favorites will not work.

Hi Mario. Thank you for the quick reply. It turns out I did not read the help document completely. The drag and drop shortcut was initially not working correctly, but per the help document, I created a new shortcut and it did work to add to my favorites.

Thank you again.

Mario

Good news  :)
Welcome to IMatch. Where there's an IMatch, there's a way  ::) :P
