Hi,
on my notebook with 4k screen, the dashboard in the viewer is only partly shown (on the bottom right edge).
Is there anything I can do to move it and see it fully?

I also use 4K monitors and I don't see any problem.
Show us a screen shot and give some details about the screen config, DPI settings, Windows version, graphic card etc.
Multi-monitor system? Shared desktop? etc...

Okay,
screenshot is attached.

Windows 10 Pro,
Lenovo P-71 Notebook with 4k screen (3480*2160), 200% scale
Core-i7 7820HQ
Intel HD Graphics 630
Nvidia Quadro P3000
No multi-monitor, no shared desktop.

imatch viewer settings:
zoom to panelsize

The dashboard is most times shown only partly in the viewer (as in the screenshot), sometimes fully show, sometimes not shown at all.
Maybe it is dependend of the image resolution.

Any other infos necessary?

Mario

This looks like the old bug in the Intel graphic card driver which clips at the image corner has re-appeared.
I recall similar clipping effects from years back, also only visible on Intel GPUs with certain drivers. Try to update your driver.

What happens when you zoom into the image to make it fill the entire screen? If the dashboard then shows, its the Intel clipping bug.

Yep, when zooming in, the dashboard is shown.
Strange, the notebook is only one month old...
But I will try to update the driver.

For some reason the Intel GPU / driver clips the data IMatch draws on top of the DirectX surface (the image) at the image corner. I have never seen this elsewhere. There was another clipping issue when the background color was 100% black (RGB 0,0,0) and hence IMatch uses RGB(1,1,1) for years to overcome this. Only happens on ob-board Intel graphics in Notebooks. When this was current year ago I tried many things but never found a solution.

Just as update:
Driver was reported to be the latest (adapted by Lenovo), installing an original driver from Intel was refused.
So I changed the Nvidia settings to force imatch to Nvidia, not Intel.
Now it works, Dashboard is shown in Viewer. :)
Thanks for the help!

Mario

Very well. This is usually the best solution when you have the option to use the 'gaming' graphic adapter.
I've still no idea why this involuntarily clipping only happens on on-board Intel GPUs. The code in IMatch is always the same and the entire display surface is available for drawing. Still, the intel driver clips the output when there is an image that is smaller than the display...
