Based on the other recent thread, I've donated a working day to looking into this. And the app is already 80% done  ;)
Using Vue.js for the user interface has speed up development quite a bit, and makes writing IMatch apps even easier.

This is how the MD Analyst looks:

The "Results" tab will show the results of the various tests (I will work on that as time permits, see also https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=8859)
The "Metadata" tab shows the native data extracted from the file (and sidecar file). I even have found a neat syntax coloring library which makes the JSON data much easier to read.
The "Save Report" tab contains features which allow the user to save the entire report to a text file. Great for uploading or sending via email.
The "IMatch Settings" tab lists all relevant metadata settings (new endpoint!). This can help to solve problems if the user uses non-default settings.

Nicely done Mario.. and thank you for spending the time to do this.  Vue.JS is quite nice at dynamic updating.... looking forward to seeing the source code and how you use it!

BTW: I keep singing the praises of IMatch at various forums and on Youtube.... especially when I counter indicate others who think LR is the best DAM ever (!!!) .... just another example!!!

Thanks. Every bit of marketing helps.
In my experience, people who think that Lr is the best, have never used a real DAM. If you don't know what you are missing, everything is good enough.

But Adobe is the market leader, has very deep pockets and a lifetime subscription model which ensures a reliable cash flow (they've almost tripled their annual revenues after pushing the subscription-only models). More than enough to make up for losing Flash and the diminishing returns from PDF.
Of course they also face the competition of Google and Facebook and others, who spend a lot of money to enure all digital assets people create never leave their clouds.

I have to arrange with that. I think this all hurts the big DAM vendors far more than me.

IMatch is not for everyone.
If all one needs is included in Lightroom, great. Whatever works.

I will try to make IMatch more useful, cover some more niches and then try to send out the message to people. Without spending thousands of dollars per month on Google advertising...
