Hello,

Il would mouve my active zone form search categorie to result categorie and from result to search only with keyboard shortcut

For exemple, un search lion, with a keyboard shortcut (which one ?) i select the result, I add it to my photo (with space key).
With another  keyboard shortcut (which one ?)   i return to the search engine, i write anothe word and i select the result ... and so on...

How to add some categorie only with keyboard shortcut ?

on exemple with screen shot

thank you so much
julien

It seems you are using the Category Panel to assign keywords to your files?
This is the hard way to do it.

I highly recommend using the Keywords Panel which has been designed for this purpose.
This panel has all kinds of features to improve keyword input, including a built-in search/assign feature, thesaurus lookup and lots more.

If you have not used the Keyword Panel, check out the documentation above and watch the videos in the IMatch Learning Center to see how fast you can keyword files with that panel.

Thank you so much, you are right it's very more easy like that.

But i have the same problem when i want to insert a new keyword in the thesaurus:

with a keyboard shortcut (which one ?) i would to move from search/add keyword zone to Filtre thesaurus zone (the green Arrow)

then i would like to search the parent keyword
then, with a keyboard shortcut (which one ?) i would like to select the result (the red Arrow)
After that i would like would like to insert my child keyword with CTRL + INS

And finally with a keyboard shortcut i would like to return to search/add keyword zone

Is it possible to assigne hierarchical keyword to my picture AND add hierarchical keyword to my thesaurus only with keyboard shortcut ?

Thank you so much for your help !

Just enable the option to automatically add new keywords to the thesaurus. Gear button in the Keyword Panel toolbar.
See the Keyword Panel help (I linked to that in my reply above).
This way when you add new keywords, your thesaurus is also filled.
You can also fill your thesaurus from external sources, keywords already in your database etc.

Also: Don't search in the thesaurus that way. Just type in the keyword into the input field below the keyword list. This field automatically looks what you have typed in the thesaurus and makes suggestions.
The search function in the thesaurus is mostly designed to be used when cleaning-up the thesaurus. The keyword input field is much more intelligent.
Did you really read the Keyword Panel help yet? It has many features and you won't be able to figure them out by yourself. And not knowing how to use it right will make you work inefficiently.

Oh yes it's work !
Thank you so much. I am sorry i didn't understand that i have to 'save the changes' to add kewords in the thesaurus. and so I thought that it did not work with hierarchized keywords.

Last question. To activate The Keywords Panel i use Ctrl+E, K but i don't know how to put the cursor in Keyword Editor "enter new keword here..." with keyboard shortcut.

do you know if it's possible to do that ? i tried with key tab but it doesn't work.

Thank you so much for your help.

Sorry for my English :-)

The keywords are only added to the thesaurus when you really apply/commit them. If you cancel the edit, no keywords are added. This is by intention. Otherwise every typo you make in the keyword panel ends up in the thesaurus...

To make a panel active, click with the mouse into the panel.
Not everything in IMatch can be done with the keyboard alone. A mouse or similar pointing device is required.
Maybe I can improve this a bit for IMatch 2020.
