Changing drive letter

I am transitioning from a computer with a small (SSD) C: drive with my photos all on the D: drive to a computer with a huge C: drive where my photos will be on the C: drive.  Is there a way to change all the file locations from D: to C: while keeping the directory structure intact?

Yes. Use the Relocate command.
