How can I synchronize settings, e.g. Favorites, Keywords, between different DB on the same machine and same user? I have two DB, one for personal stuff and the other for jobs/projects.
I have checked https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#rmh_config_appsettings.htm?dl=h-7 and set the same alias for both DB. This topic I have also followed https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=2085.msg13192#msg13192 but it is only related to synchronizing between two machines.

I have also copied the C:\ProgramData\photools.com\imatch6\config\imatch.pts to "privat.pts" and set them as DB config. But this is a general setting and not related to the DB.

Is there a possibility to export settings of DB1 and copy them into/for DB2? If so, where can I get further information on that?

You can export your thesaurus via the export function in the Thesaurus Manager. You cannot copy "keywords" between databases.
You can export and import categories via the corresponding functions in the Import & Export Panel.
You can export and import Attributes in the same way.

Favorites usually link to database-specific objects (e.g. category ids, folder ids) and cannot be moved between databases.

IMatch automatically manages per-user, per-database, per-computer and mixes for you in the The IMatch Settings Database

Working with two databases will always require additional effort with synching. 90+% of the users participating in telemetry use one database only.
