Annotations are overlaid

It happens again and again that several face anntotaions are displayed overlapped in the viewer after I have added new persons with "link to person" (see Annotations 1.jpg), although there is actually enough space for all annotations.
I can distribute these annotations manually (see Annotations 2.jpg), but I have 2 questions:
1. why are the annotations overlapped?
2. how can I easily recognize in the viewer that there are overlaid annotations?

What do you mean by overlapped? I don't see anything overlapped?
2 links in the first file, six links in the second?

Links are just placed on the top-right. When you place multiple links, they are arranged top to bottom.
When you later add more links, IMatch tries to find a good spot, but does not bother to much. Links are temporary anyway most of the time.
If you don't like where IMatch is placing the links, just move them elsewhere. IMatch does not care where links are placed. They are just temporary placeholders.
