I agree. Ok to see a message IF there is a new version, but this is really unnecessary. Always annoys me too ...

Although people will save only one mouse click every 30 days (or one press of <Enter>), I have removed this message box for the next version.
It's all silent and sneaky now, unless an error is encountered or an update is available.

True, but you know how it is. The 29 days without a message are not noticed, but the day the message appears, it is noticed 
The problem is that it takes some time, after iMatch has started, for the message to appear (which is perfectly logical as the check takes some time), which in my case means that I am already doing stuff in iMatch and the message interrupts me, which is the annoying part.

Anyway, thanks for the change, Mario!

The check takes maybe 0.5 seconds. But IMatch delays the check for some time after the start, to not interfere with other potential message boxes and notifications.
