GPS Data missing from Iphone Pictures

Reference the images (attached) taken with an Iphone 6 in 2016.  I took about 90 pictures that day.  IMG_6756 has GPS data (8:30AM).  8 minutes later I took IMG_6757.  It has no GPS data.  None of the next 70 have GPS data until around 4PM that day.  Then GPS data appears on images.

The same thing happened the next day. I see no GPS data for several hours and then images in the afternoon have GPS data.

I have hit CNTRL SHIFT F5 and I've also used EXIF tool and no GPS data.  My question is whether or not I did something to these images to lose it or is it possible the phone didn't capture it (unlikely).  They were taken in a Convention Center.  Is it possible there was no signal in certain areas to capture the GPS data?

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I could have done to lose the GPS data.

Thanks!

GPS signals have trouble getting through concrete and steel. Being inside a building can make it hard for your phone to pick up the GPS signals.

This is not uncommon. Could be caused by many things. Even happens on the outside, when you're in the shadow of a large building or in a Canyon or next to large machinery or...

There is definitely no GPS record in the first image. Only in the second image.
Looks like you'll have to add coordinates to the other images in the Map Panel.
