Organise images into a separate folder
Open the same folder in Adobe Bridge (I have CS3 + InDesign, later or cloud versions may not work the same)
Tools | InDesign | Create InDesign Contact Sheet
This pops all the folder's images into an InDesign document. Export to pdf and print from that, no need to keep the indd file.
