Hi Testers,

I know this request goes against the concept Master-Version but sometimes I don´t want to keep the RAW´s and just their JPG or TIF version with the metadata already propagated from the Master. Does anyone know how to achieve this without much trouble in IM5 ?. Perhaps I´d have to launch a feature request that when deleting Master files IM5 would ask if Versions had to be erased too.

Best Regards

This has nothing to do with versions.

If you Move/Copy/Rename/Delete a file, IMatch also performs the same operations on it's buddy files.
If you delete the RAW and you have configured the JPEG files to be buddy files, IMatch will delete them as well.
You can just temporarily disable the Buddy file relation before you delete the master, then re-enable it.

I too often delete one or the other (Raw or jpg...) and because of this I do not use Buddy files.

Thank you both,

Mario works fine as you indicated.
Ubacher, I must consider the usefulness of buddy files in my workflow.
