I'd like to request that a feature for the propagate keywords be able to be disabled if a user so chooses.

I understand it is there for security, but it could be given more of a warning if that is really seen to be an issue.  I'm not entirely sure how the propagate keywords could cause too much damage.  It is meant to sync up the various keywords fields.  Damage would be if you were throwing them out of sync.

p.s. I also realize that this feature (as are many others) probably would have limited use beyond perhaps the initial setup for a user.  But, as a general comment with regards to that, a lot of IMatch features fall into the category of not needing once things are set up.  One of the powers of IMatch is being flexible and workable when one is getting familiar with the program.  A feature that may seem of limited use to an experienced user could be a life saver for a user whom is learning the program.  That isn't to say this feature here fits that category, but there are many feature requests that keep getting argued away as of being a one time use (or minimal use), but that is usually because most of us here know the program and essentially have our D.A.M. strategy set.

A lot of comments about something not being needed much almost always result to the initial use (or migration as is happening to me).  As a somewhat experienced user, workarounds are manageable, but I know that if I was new at the program and some of these things come up without the vision of knowing how well things can be once one reaches the end of the tunnel, these features that are argued as having minimal use to us become features that are needed 90% of the time to someone trying to setup a database, thesaurus, hierarchy, etc.
