Cache Problem after changing parameters

Here are screenshots. I reset to default but cannot get back to what I had, or can even use.  End up with either minute image or only
the small box with a question mark. Help appreciated, thanks

I don't understand what you did. Which settings did you change?

Changing the cache parameters only impacts images added or updated after you make the change. For example, if you change the cache image size, only images added to your database afterwards will use the new size. To apply the new cache settings to existing images, you have to select them in a file window, and then press <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<F5> and use the Re-create Cache images option.

If you change the location of the cache folder, IMatch will use this. But IMatch will not copy cache images from the old folder to the new folder or anything.

The "unknown file format" icon you show in your post is used when IMatch cannot load/create a cache image. Since you did not tell me what you changed and also did not attach a log file, I cannot provide more info at this time.
