Hello,
I want to push all the images in my entire database to Text exporter so that I can generate a file of all attributes.  I cannot see how to do that without going into each subfolder, selecting all, dropping them in text export and then creating an individual .txt file for each folder within that database.  This would be incredibly time consuming, since I have a lot of subfolders.
Is there a way around this?
Cheers, AK

Ger

All images are visible in the @All category in the Category panel. Select all images (Ctrl-A) and drag them to the Text Exporter area.

You can select the top folder and then set Display Hierarchy. This will display all files.

To export all files in your database you can just drag and drop the @All category from the Category View to the Export module.
Or select the drive node and drop it to the text export module.

@All did the trick---THANK YOU!
Remember: Most IMatch commands work with the current selection of files in the current scope (what you see in the File Windows). This means you can run commands on individual files in a folder/category/collection/timeline node or you can batch-process entire folders, disks or even all files in the database - all in the same way.

The Import & Export modules are sensitive to the object(s) you drop. Some modules offer additional options when you not just drop a bunch of files but categories or folders. The details are explained in the help topic for the individual Import & Export modules. For example, the JuiceBox Web Exporer allows you to produce a navigation based on categories when you not just drop files, but categories...
