I am a current user of another DAM product and I'm not happy with it.  I'm attracted to iMatch.  Is there a "competitive upgrade" price if I can prove ownership of that other product?

Mario

No. I don't do such things.

I think that IMatch has a very fair price for what it offers.

I'll echo and fully support what Mario said.  For everything it's capable of doing, it's a bargain at the full and fair retail price.

If anything iMatch should cost more than it does.

AND you have the feeling that you have the developer next door who always give you a hand.

Hah!. I will remember that one  ;)

I'm currently arguing with an IMatch 3 user (bough his license in 2008) who does not understand that he cannot get a 50% discount when purchasing IMatch 5 now. That's not uncommon.

:o Then ask him, he should go to his discounter (elsewhere he will such a user not go), and ask for 50%, because he has bought his bred last year also there.  ;D

I guess the problem isn't the price than more what other (not all) Software-Companies do.

I use IMatch every day for a lot of different stuff; not just for photos/images. The relation between benefiting (efficiency, workflow, usability, stability, ...)  and prize is invincible.

Mario

Thanks to all who commented to nicely in the favor of IMatch and my fair pricing model. I keep the costs low so I can keep the product price low.

I'm already looking at IMatch 6, which will be released 2017.
But before, I will launch the awesome IMatch AnywhereTM product. Almost finished  :)

I will create a very fair pricing model for IMatch Anywhere.
Several license types for different demands (home users, smaller and larger businesses).

Despite the the fact that IMatch Anywhere enters into a market where price tags of several hundred dollars per month for a 2-5 user license are considered "cheap".
Or where you have to upload your files into the cloud of the vendor to use their services. And then probably enter into a lifetime subscription.
