I'm currently investigating the trial version of iMatch, and this is embarrassing but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to edit an image file from iMatch.

I use LR, PSE, Luminar, and On1.  But I don't see a way to send an image file to any of these applications.  When I right click on a photo and select "Open..." it brings up the Win10 Photo Viewer.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but any help you can provide is appreciated.

Thanks,
David

Then I think, the Win10 Photo Viewer is related to this program.

You could simply drag n drop. (I do this for Photoshop)

Or like the help says "You can drag application shortcuts (e.g. from the Desktop, the START menu or the Taskbar) to the Favorite panel. Application Favorites are stored per-computer. This makes it easy to handle different sets of applications on your different computers." you could create Favorites.

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

When you use the "Open" command IMatch uses the application associated with the given file format to open/edit the file.
Make sure the other application is properly registered in Windows and has associated itself with the file format. IMatch shows you the name of the associated application in the menu.

You can also use "Open with..."  <Shift>+<Alt>+<Return> to get a choice which application to use (Advanced Functions sub-menu in the File Window Context menu).

Via <Alt>+<Return> you open the standard Windows menu which you known from Windows Explorer.

You can just drag files from the IMatch file window to the window or icon of the other application to open them.

You can create Favorites for your application to open files.

Please see the section "File Management" in the IMatch help for a full list of all related commands. Just type file management into the help index or click on File Window in the table of contents on the left.
