Disable popups

How can I completely disable this popup in the viewer which gets in my way all the time (and any others if possible).

Can't. This is usually only shown when no File Window Tip has been configured at all. Check Edit > Preferences > File Window Tip.

Yeah, and if I define a tip, that is displayed ... But I don't want anything popping up in front of the thumbnails. It just annoys the hell out of me ...

The tip only shows when you move the pointer in the upper-right corner of the thumbnail for a short while.

Nope. It appears if the mouse goes anywhere in the upper half of the thumbnail (remember I'm talking about the Viewer!).
And I don't care when it appears, it just does so way too often and I just want to switch it completely off.
