Hi Mario, is it planned to include HDR-Files?

What do you mean by that, exactly?
HDR is a vast topic.  IMatch knows already about the .hdr extension, as well as .rgbe and .xyze extensions. If a matching WIC codec is installed, IMatch processes these files as any other files, else it just includes them into the database.

Hi Reiner,

I have a lot of HDR-pics in my IM5-database, as TIFF and JPG. One point here is, that some HDR-proghrams remove a lot of metadata.

Ups - so I just had been struck blind. Sorry. I had'nt tried to scan the folders containing files with the extension hdr.

@gerd: Photomatic lets you save the hdr-files. I didn't think of the results in tif or jpg. :)

Tip: Under Edit > Preferences > File Formats you can see a list of all supported formats, as well as add your own formats if needed.

Hi Reiner,

a little bit OT...

yes, I know. I use Photomatic and also Luminance-HDR ... but I'm not sure, if such programs will exist after a lot of years and then I'm on the save side with TIFF (or JPG). I have then also the possibility to process them with my standards LR and CS6.  ;)

It's for me similar to RAW-Files - there is a not developed film on your HD :)
