Note: ~Where is a group level keyword

My keyword hierarchy is [~Where] Europe Poland | Silesia
I add child to Silesia: Karpacz (1)

The resulting keyword in my images is: Europe|Poland|Silesia|Karpacz. Exactly what I want. (2)

When I return to my categories:
I find a new branch: Europe | Poland | Silesia | Karpacz (3)

I would have thought that Karpacz would have become a child of Silesia, this is where I want the branch, within [~Where] | Europe |Poland | Silesia (4)

It's not too difficult to drag and drop into correct place, but is there a way to get "Karpacz" into the correct branch initially?

I'm not sure that I understand.

The automatically created @Keywords category with the fat arrow looks to be correct?
The keyword Europe|Poland|Silesia|Karpacz will produce a @Keywords hierarchy entry:

Europe
|-Poland
  |-Silesia
    |-Karpacz

When you want this under ~Where, you need to add the keyword

~Where|Europe|Poland|Silesia|Karpacz

This is a totally different keyword. Also make sure ~Where is not set to exclusion or group level in your thesaurus.
Remember that the @Keywords hierarchy is dynamically produced from the actual keywords in your file.

This sentence is the key.
I had misunderstood that when I added a keyword the ~Where would be present automatically in the @keyword tree

I will now remove ~Where from group level in the thesaurus.
I will then modify my output templates to remove Where, What etc.

Thank you for clearing up my misunderstanding.

Aubrey.
