Do not ask questions in the "FAQ, Workflow, Tutorials, Tips & Tricks board". This board is for posting tutorials and giving people tips. NOT for asking questions.
Please read the board description (below the board name) before you post. If in doubt, ask in "General Discussion and Questions".

I will move your post this time.

This does not look like a screen shot of the IMatch thesaurus?
The keywords on the upper levels are all in UPPER CASE. Maybe these are all group levels?

Possibly you have set words in capitals as group level, in which case you will not see them. This is a default when you import your keywords into the thesaurus manager. You can check it in Properties in the thesaurus manger.  If your keywords are not showing because they are treated as group level, then change yes to no in the properties panel.

Glad that helped. I have the opposite problem, which is that I have group level entries in square brackets and capitals, which are explicitly set as group level in Properties, yet some of them still appear as keywords. I do not understand how this is happening, or why it affects only some, but not all, of my group level keywords: they all follow the same format, so why a few are not treated as group level is presently a mystery to me. I am continuing to try to find the answer by experimentation before asking Mario or filing a bug report, in case it is something I am doing wrong.

Double-check how you have your keywords flattened when mapping from hierarchical keywords back into regular flat XMP keywords. Maybe this is where "new" keywords are produced.
Keywords are messy and if you try to do to much, it is easy to shot yourself in your foot.

All pros I know use simple, non-hierarchical keywords. Works best across the board...
