Camera card not found all the time

My IMatch database has the drive letter for my camera card reader drive "F". The reader is installed into a 5 1/4" bay on my computer. The first time I insert the card into the reader, IMatch finds the card after a "rescan now" on the DCIM sub folder. With IMatch still open, If I take the card out, shoot more photos and re-insert the card into the reader, IMatch can no longer find the card using the previous procedure. I have to "Relocate"(update the folder location) "F" and then "rescan" the DCIM sub folder.

Windows accesses the file system only via Windows.
If you have to relocate, maybe your card reader has changed the media id of the card?

As always a log file of that IMatch session would be useful.

just went to create the log file and now it's working fine. Go figure!

Creating a log file after a problem happens is usually not helpful.
Remember to keep the log file of the session where you've experienced the problem (Help menu > Support > ... Copy Logfile). This way we see the data recorded when the problem happened, which is often helpful.
