Take a look at the attachment. I am trying to change date and time for some photos that are wrong in date and time. It looks like there is no metadata in many of the files.  I am trying to change date created and date subject created by setting the absolute date and time. What is wrong when this message shows up?

It would be helpful to show us also a screenshot of the Time Wiz main window. Maybe the file is skipped because the new timestamp would be identical to the existing one?

Ok. I have tried now. If you look at the attached files, you can see that the photo I want to rename is dated 24.08.2019. But the filename shows it was taken 01.07.2012. If I look into the standard metadata view, there is no metadata. As you can see, there is some metadata in browser view, but not much. I tried to use the Time Wiz but got the message I sent you yesterday. A log file is attached.

Is it possible to set up Imatch to group photos together in a collection when Imatch doesn`t find date and time for when a photo was taken? Then there could be just one place to look when I have to change date and time for photos. I understand that Imatch is set up like this when it doesn`t find date and time for a photo, but instead of doing work several places in the database, there could be one collection?

And one more thing:
When I discover a photo like this with wrong date and time stamp, I always wonder: is this photo already in the database or not?

Is there an easy way to search for similar filenames? Sometimes I see that a photo like I sent you could have a duplicate in the database named: 20120701-17-09-57-1. It is the same photo, just has a -1 or -2 in the end of the filename. I can search for visual similar images. That works often, but not always.

The attached log file above only shows an IMatch start. Not useful.
Make sure you include the log file from the IMatch session where you've used the TimeWiz.
Also keep an eye on the App output panel, in case the TimeWiz dumps a warning or error message there while you use it.

See How IMatch uses Date and Time Information
If an image does not contain a usable timestamp, IMatch uses the last modified on disk timestamp as reported by Windows. So your files should group automatically in the Timeline?

If not, you can easy find files without a date or time using a metadata value filter in the Filter panel.
This is explained in the help and there is even a Did You Know? topic for that.

Of course. Both the File Window search bar and the File Name filter allow you to search for partial file names and even regular expressions.
I don't have the time right now to lookup the corresponding help topics for you. I'm sure you can find the info quickly by pressing F1 after clicking into the File window search bar or pressing F1 after clicking into the Filter panel. Or by just searching for filter or search in the Help System.
