Hi, this ought to be straightforward but I can't seem to make it do it. I select a bunch of pics of my daughter, right click and select Detect Faces and Create Face Annotations. It puts squares and question marks over her face in all of them. What now? How do I tell the program that this is my daughter? It's driving me crazy and the documentation doesn't seem to help at all.
Thanks!

Phil

IMatch has detected the faces. Very good.
Now open the files in the Viewer, select a face and assign a person. This is show you teach IMatch who is who.
You can add persons on-demand in the Person Selector. Or up-front the People View.

See Face Recognition and People - A Walkthrough in the IMatch help for the People feature for details.

Ahh, opening the viewer was what I missed. Thanks!

The Viewer is the main feature for assigning persons to faces. Very interactive.
Also check out the The Face Manager which is a massive productivity feature and allows you to assign/confirm/reject/ignore large volumes of faces quickly.

I recommend reading the People help topic at least once.

IMatch goes way beyond what other software can do with faces and people. It is well worth knowing about all IMatch can do for you.
From creating persons to person data. The importance of the day of birth and how IMatch utilizes it to improve the recognition quality.
Person metadata. The Person Manager.
Much more...
