Image order in design and print with files from different directories

Hello again

I love the D&P feature to make contact sheets, sorted by create date. When I do this, most of the images are printed in the order I suspect them to be (old to new). However, when there's images from different folders (e.g. when printing all the images from one person) I notice the print order is influenced by the folder the images are in.

I've been looking for a workaround and found this post about sorting, but that doesn't solve the issue.

I would prefer not to move the images to other folders (sorted by date) just to get the printing order right. What would you guys suggest?

Assign the images to a (temporary) category, apply the sort order you want and run D & P.
