"xx unconfirmed faces" text below person does not get updated/removed

After I confirm all faces in the face manager the xx unconfirmed faces text  under the person stays until
I press F5. But not all the time!


This has caused me, in my testing, to conclude that Imatch was still busy in the background.

Since I have update problems when working with filters (F5 never seems to work) I wonder if it
is due to my configuration. I have Background indexing off. And I don't use the cache.

I found that I can not work on the M&F panel when, due to indexing new files (PS processing images at the time),
the screen gets repainted periodically. (On the faster desktop I need not do this).

Disabling background indexing forces IMatch to not detect new and modified files. Which can be a real bad thing when you think about it. Please don't report bugs later caused by your deliberate choices.

I will answer it once I have looked into it. This does not seem to be priority one bug so it goes into the queue and I will look into it once I have looked at bug reports created before your bug report.

Does this still happen with the current 2023.8.2 release?
I cannot reproduce it with this version which includes a bug fix for this.

Made some improvements for the 2023.8.4 release. Should be fixed now.
