I just installed IMATCH version 2025.1.6.
I use W10 64 bit current version.
The data is stored on an NVME SSD
With the Peek View and also Quick View a strange behavior occurs.
If I apply it to a text file (.TXT), another image is displayed, which is not in the database but in a different directory on the disk. With other files (.xls), the correct icon is displayed. With images, everything works correctly.

I'm not sure...

When I peek view a .TXT file, IMatch opens the Peek View (black window) with the text
"This file cannot be displayed". Peek View is designed for images, not text files.

The Quick View Panel shows a preview of the text in the .TXT file.

Anything special I need to do? Can another user try this, please?

Do you use versioning or anything? When you  switch IMatch to debug logging (see log file) and repeat this afterwards, has IMatch logged any warnings (search for W>) or errors (search for E>)?

I have the same behavior Mario describes for TXT Files (The Peek View gives the message "This file cannot be displayed", and the QuickView Panel shows the Text the file contains).

I tried all three methods of invoking the Peek View (middle mouse button, space-bar left mouse button, and Shift+Space), going back and forth between an Image File and a TextFile.  In all cases the message appeared for the TextFile, and the correct image for the Image File.
