Only confirmed in People View

Hi there

Is there a way to switch the People View into a mode that only shows images confirmed for the currently selected person/people? Or use the hierarchy modes to split between confirmed/unconfirmed (What does hierarchy even do in this view?)?

When I import a large batch of images and have run face detection on them the view becomes cluttered with all the maybes until I find the time to properly assign the right people to the faces which makes the view nearly unusable for my usual approach to working with batches of files containing specific people.

Right now I help myself by keeping new files in special folders until I come around to assign people and using the sorting by folder and filename function and manually spotting "the border" between confirmed and unconfirmed files.

There is probably a more convenient way to do this, but I'm too overwhelmed to find it. :-)

When you select a person in the People View, the File Window loads all files with at least one face "linked" to that person, confirmed or not.

To see only files with specific face- or person-related attributes (like confirmed files) use the People Filter in the Filter Panel.
To see only confirmed faces, enable the "unconfirmed" option and invert the filter with the funnel button:

If you need this often, save the filter under a name. You can then apply it quickly from the Filter Panel or the stored filters drop down in the Quick Filter ribbon: The Quick Filter Ribbon
