Propagation only to selected versions

I'd like to have the option to propagate only to the selected versions. 

At the moment let's say that I have a master and 5 versions and I have propagated to all versions.  Now I create a new version.  I only want and need to propagate to one file, but as I understand it I have to propagate to all 6 version files.  This changes 5 files unnecessarily.  It's slower and it increases the size of backups and changes file date/time stamps needlessly.

Surely it is possible to have a code path in propagation that only propagates to versions in the current selection rather than all versions?

Yes he has - there are three version-related requests that have just been solved - and I am very grateful.  I feel like all my Christmases have come at once.  Rather than saying thank you in each feature request thread I will say thank you for all three here.
