Deleting keywords of cr2 files

Hi I am unable to delete keywords of some cr2 files and I do not know WHY?

I deleted 15000 Kewords of my files and it works but it does not work for 38 cr2 files.

Please list your metadata and metadata 2 options.
CR2 files are usually not updated by IMatch (it writes to the XMP file only)
When the CR2 files contain embedded IPTC data (and keywords) this can cause the effect. Did you check that?
If these CR2 files contain an embedded IPTC record with keywords you can

a) Allow IMatch to update legacy IPTC in CR2 files so IMatch can synchronize XMP and IPTC or
b) Manually delete the IPTC record on the CR2 file with the Exiftool Command Processor to "fix" the files (better)
