Expand ALL Stacks or Version sets

I couldn't see in the helpfile where there is an easy way to just expand or collapse all stacks or version sets.  I thought I had seen something yesterday, but couldn't find it today via the help file or menus. Is there a way to do this?

Context, I was working in the file window with my @All category.  The windows shows there are 24,000 shown and 1,600 files stacked.  The category tree shows there are 25,600 files total.  It adds up (good).

I want to unstack all the images (no filters) that are stacked.  The auto-pause is turned off.  I selected all the images in the active window (ctrl+A) and it shows 24,000 selected.  I then tried pressing shift+E to expand all stacks, and the window still shows that the 1600 files are stacked.  I also tried the control+<rt arrow> and right clicking and using the expand option under the stacking sub-menu.  Nothing changes in the window.  Shouldn't all the files unstack with one of these options?

As a side note, I opened up a smaller test data base of about 100 images with 25 images stacked.  If I work on the @All category in that database, the expansion works.  I select all and then use shift+e to expand and all the images expand.  The information at the top of the file window shows 100 images (showed 75 before expanding) and the stacked images changes from 25 to 0.

Is there a limit to how many images can be selected and expanded at once.  Perhaps I'm just using too many.

I ask about expanding all in case there is a short cut that doesn't require selecting all images.  It might be convenient for collapsing all stacks as well.

If there is indication there is a problem, I'll recreate the problem and obtain a log.  I can't see any error indication, but I'm not looking that hard either.

Ok.  Here's what I found

(1) Expand and Collapse only work for stacks and not for stacked version sets.
(2) Version sets run via a toggle, and if one hits the toggle (ctrl+shift+s) it will collapse all the open version sets if some are open, which was the case in my example.  If I toggle again, it only reopens the ones that were closed before.  Somewhere in there I needed to reselect all (or perhaps it toggled some closed and some open).

The lesson is that there is no one convenient way to open all version sets or close all version sets.  The information at the top of the window calls all stacks and version sets that are collapsed as stacks, but expanding stacks only works on files that are truly stacks (not versions).

I feel like there is something that might need to be cleaned up here to either distinguish when the number of files stacked includes version files OR possibly allow the stack collapse and expansion to also encompass versions.

The expand/collapse commands work on all selected files. If you select all files in a folder/category/collection/timeline node/drive/media/database and run the expand or collapse commands for normal stacks or version stacks, IMatch will apply that command to all files.

If you see my reply, it didn't quite work that way.  The expand or collapse only worked on normal stacks, not version stacks, and it didn't expand all stacks if some of the stacks were already expanded.

Selecting all and pressing expand only worked when all the stacks were collapsed.  It did not work at all on the version sets.  I had to use the ctrl + shift + s to expand them all.

This was observed in the Category view without filters.  I'll recreate it on a smaller subset and file a bug report since it appears that it is not working as intended.

First a test:

1. Run a diagnosis and attach the log file please.
2. Retry. Does it work now?
3. If not, do <F4>,<R> on the folder containing the master files.
4. Does it work now?
