Mario, in this thread (now archived)

https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=3290.new;topicseen#new

you mention that a 'GPS' occurred inside the Microsoft runtime library.   What is a 'GPS' in this context?

Mario

Sorry, tech lingo.
GPS means "General Protection Fault". While IMatch uses the Microsoft runtime library to return memory no longer needed to Windows, a problem occurred and this caused Windows to abort IMatch. I cannot tell what the problem was, at least from what I can see in the DUMP file, IMatch was in a proper state and the memory was valid.

My sources do not show that GPS means "General Protection Fault" but they do state that GPF means "General Protection Fault"

Mario

Sorry. GPS, GPF, GSP, ... To many acronyms... ;)
