how to see progress for background jobs ?

small question : e.g. when i do "Tools / Modify EXIF Date and Time ... / ...", the updates are done in the background (i think).  I know there is the icon on the botton right.  But can i follow somewhere the progress of the background task(s) ?

This dialog performs the operations immediately.
Usually changing the timestamp of a file is very quick. How many files do you process?
As usual IMatch displays background activity (re-reading the files after changing the metadata) etc. in the Info & Activity panel and the status bar.
