Spell checker with annotations

Does the spell checker work when making annotations?
I can't seem to get it working...

The spell checker works in the keywords panel, metadata panel, and Attributes panel. Also in the grids used for properties.
No special check for the graphic annotations.

Usually Annotations are just icons or faces or other symbols. Which kind of Annotation do you use?

Would't annotations that can contain text have a text field that could be detected by the spell check mechanism?

Sure. Should be doable. I just did not bother at the time and so far there was never a request for it. But that's what the feature request board is for.

I am using the annotations to add comments images.  Works very nicely.

I recommend you add a feature request in the feature request board. Just something like "Please add spell checking to Annotations" and a link back to this thread will do.
