IMatch 2018 Sneak Peak: New App Manager

I have redesigned the App Manager for IMatch 2018.

Instead of a list view with more or less details, the App Manager now shows only the app icons and the new short title (or the name, if no title is specified for the app).
The user can choose between for icon sizes. The smallest size shows only the icon, without any text. This is for very small screens or for users who want a as small as possible App Manager panel (e.g. a bar).
It's easier to use and looks better, too.

To launch an app, the user clicks on the icon. If the user hovers the mouse cursor for 0.5 seconds over an icon, a menu button is displayed. Clicking this button opens a dialog box which shows details about the app and offers additional commands.

Apps can be rearranged by drag and drop, and apps can be hidden as before.

Some Background...

I wanted to add support for Bootstrap 4 (CSS framework) and FontAwesome 5 to IMatch 2018.
These are the latest versions of these awesome libraries and it is cool to have them in IMatch. I was an early backer of FontAwesome 5 on Kickstarter.

Since the App Manager was the first app ever written for IMatch, I decided that it was due to a redesign.
I have learned a bit about JavaScript since march last year...

To keep things short: Lot of work, because I not only hard to learn about the new Bootstrap but also had to adapt existing classes (e.g. IMatchModals) because there are subtle differences.
Of course I also had to make sure that existing apps look and work as before, update the documentation, introduce  a new title element for the app.json to account for the reduced screen estate, etc. Lots of side-field activity as usual...

Anyway, another IMatch 2018 feature from my to-do list completed. Still a lot to go, and for some I don't even know if they are possible at all

That's just the functionality we already have now in the App Manager. Nothing new in this area.

Like the design.

One question: Instead of opening the menu after hovering for x seconds, would it be possible to open the menu by right-click instead? I'm always super-annoyed by all the stuff that's poping up by itself, mostly when I don't want it and it gets in the way of what I actually want to do (whished I could block all the "on-mouse-over" and similar events in my web browser, but that's a whole other story by itself ...)

Both works. Right-clicking does the same as clicking the automatic button.
This makes this feature usable for all devices, even the ones without a mouse :-)

Good! Now I'd just want to know how to disable all hover-popups ...

You can't.  Why would you need to disable them. They don't get in the way.

They do! Very often! As with those pesky popups and automatically opening menus in most browsers, very often, while moving the mouse, they pop up and hide what I was trying to reach with the mouse. Extremely annoying. Worst thing ever invented.

Say goodbye to popups and ads/browser interruptions with the UBlock Origin Addon.... blocks almost all items AND makes your browsing so much faster!  Won't help with IM though.. ;-)
