I had a problem yesterday where my IMatch Database.imd5 file had gone missing; in the end I got it back as all my files are uploaded to the web for safe keeping.

In the mean time I attempted to find out how to use my last Backup file to restore from the and couldn't find how to do so.

So how do I restore using the last backup file?

Thanks,
Richard

What is your 'last backup file'?
Which software do you use to backup your system daily?

Or do you use Pack & Go as a replacement for backups?
In that case, check out the Restore section of the Pack & Go help: Restore

Mario,
I backup when iMatch requests that I do.

I use Sync.com to back up all my data to the cloud.

I don't use Pack & Go as I don't know what it's for but would suspect it's for transferring data to another computer?

IMatch asks you to backup your data and then starts Pack & Go.
It does this since I've discovered that many users never backup their data at all, and then stand in ruins when their hard disk dies.
If you don't know that you are backing up using Pack & Go and you have a proper daily backup routine in place anyway, you can disable the backup warning in Edit > Preferences > Applications.

Pack & Go is not a replacement for a proper daily backup of your entire system.
