I am setting up an existing Imatch 2017.14 database on a new Windows 10 device.  As shown in the attachment, script is displayed instead of the tool tip.  I recall this occurring some time ago, but cannot remember how to correct this.

The File Wndow Info Tip (Edit > Preferences > File Window Tip) is invalid and produces invalid markup. Load the default presets (same dialog) or if you use a custom tip, fix your markup. There is a preview in that dialog that will show you when it is correct again.

Thank you Mario.  I am sorry, but can you help a bit more.  I do not know what is a "mark up" or how to fix one.

The file window tip uses XAML markup to give users great freedom for formatting. See: File Window Tip
This page also explains how you can load the default layouts in case yours are somehow broken. This usually does not happen, so I don't know why it does not work.
