Do I need both or should there be only one ?

If only one, how do I not do this again ?

Which one would be correct, the larger one ?

Should I just start again and develop a new cache ?

Thanks  ...

IMatch  maintains a separate folder for each of your databases under the cache root folder you can configure under Edit > Preferences > Cache.
The cache folder used for a database is displayed in the Info & Activity panel ('Cache Folder').

Thanks Mario, I must have an older database from my early playings around with IM5  ... moved the non current one to another directory for now as a precaution. Seems to be working fine.

The Database > Tools > Delete Database command deletes a database and the associated cache folder.
If you delete a database manually in Windows Explorer, you must delete the cache folder yourself too.
