Hi, I'd like to use the Formula Property Panel in iMatch but I'm a little confused.

iMatch Version: 2018.11.2

I've had a thorough look at the help but can't find it where it's supposed to be, am I misunderstanding what /where it is.

This is where I've been looking in the help file:
Using Formulas

Also the link to the category formula editor in that section of the help isn't working:

Category Formula Editor.
https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#editor

How I'm intending to use.

Category client name + Collection Type i.e

"Sash And Tara" AND "Album"

Thank you for your help :-)

1.  I can see only two links to the formula editor on that page and both are working.
Note: You cannot open these internal links on new tabs, if that is what you've tried to do.

2.  Make sure the Property Panel in the Category View is visible.

It's directly below the category tree. You may have collapsed it so you need to click on the tab named "Properties" to open it again.

Note: This is in the Category View (click on the tab labeled "Categores" at the top of the IMatch window).

PS.: I have now added a separate "Edit Formula..." command to the right-click context menu again. It was somehow missing...

Hi Mario, I can't believe how quick you replied!

Thank you so much that helped a lot. The category view was visible but the window very small so I couldn't see all of it.

I've attached a file where the link didn't seem to work... it goes to a window which never loads.

This is the https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#cat_formulas.htm page, right?

Do you left click the link or right-click?
This is an internal link and you cannot open it in another tab. A small issue with the way the IMatch help works. Browsers may create invalid links when a user tries to open an in-page (on the same page) link in a new tab or window.

I clicked the link in FF, Edge and Chrome and it works in all browsers.

Oh wow! I'm so used to opening in different tabs that I hadn't even thought of a normal click.... I do it without even thinking.

Sorry to have wasted your time.

I just had an idea for a work-around. Opening all kinds of links in external windows or separate tabs should work now.
