Hello,

I prefer to use Directory Opus (GPSoftware) instead of Windows Explorer.
Can I change the application that is connected to the context menu "Open in Windows Explorer ..."?
I could not find it in the preferences.

Thanks

Mario

There is no application. IMatch just tells the "Windows Shell" to open the resource (folder / file). Windows uses of course Explorer.

There are many other ways to open your files in whatever Windows Explorer replacement you prefer.

I'm also a Directory Opus user and that's an Opus setting, to completely replace the Windows Explorer.  Works great for me with IMatch.

Mario

That's what I would have expected.
If you actually "replace" the default Explorer with a 3rd party software, the shell commands IMatch uses will be processed by that other software automatically.

The 'Explorer Replacement' is active. But it opens Windows Explorer.
Can you show me your Directory Opus preferences? I have attached mine.

I just realized that if pressing Windows+E it opens Windows Explorer. But my DO preferences are set to "Open the Default Lister".  :o

I got it working now. Now it opens Directory Opus instead of Windows Explorer. Thanks for helping out.
